Information on the new TXT2Remind Service

General Practices are required to contact patients for a variety of reasons, such as recalls for smears, vaccinations, test results and appointment reminders. Your GP surgery has setup TXT2Remind (powered by Vensa) which will enable your Doctor or Nurse to text message you the next time you are due for a service or an appointment with the surgery:

• Please contact your surgery and inform them if you are unable to make your appointment once you receive the text message reminder. The surgery will include its contact details in the text message.
• Your surgery may send you a text message relating to your recent test results. The message will instruct you of the appropriate action you need to take.
• Your surgery may send you a text message reminding you that you are due for a service. Please contact the practice and schedule an appointment once you receive the message.
